Altitude's Annual
Members-Only Event

Event Branding & CAMPAIGN

Programmes used: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva

Altitude hosts an annual beginner event each year, Ignite with Altitude, and every year we'd get requests from members to do something just for them. So, in 2026, Evolve with Altitude was launched.

Evolve will run annually and includes special events, challenges, a leaderboard and prizes - aimed at members who want to build some momentum before winter hits. We needed a campaign that felt fun, energized and showed it was a lot more than a regular event. It needed to feel like THE event.

So that, of course, meant it got it's own sub-branding that could be used year-on-year to build buzz over the longterm - while still generating hype for iteration #1.

The Choices.

Since this needed to feel like THE event of the year, I wanted a look that really channeled that. I ended up finding inspiration within the liquid acid / Acidgrafix design aesthetic. A style that has roots in 90s rave culture, and saw a revival in the mid 2010s - showing up on music covers and event flyers. It's a visually interesting style that, alongside using certain colours, gives a feeling of bubbling excitement. Which was exactly right for Evolve.

I also left an easter egg for older members, whether they realized or not, by using the colours from our original, now retired, Ignite campaign.

It felt like Altitude - but could stand alone as it's own, exclusive event.

Execution & Considerations.

Although the Evolve logo came to life in industry standard design tools, the majority of the campaign pieces were created in Canva as templates. This allowed studios to run their own individual campaign autonomously once the resources were made available.

Because I used Canva, I did have to compromise on some aspects of design. I couldn't get too complicated with overall layouts as studios needed to be able to make tweaks themselves without having to worry about resizing, realigning or redesigning anything.
